An ink drawing, in which the "work blessing", also known as the "Ritzah blessing", is the first of the three confession blessings, which end the standing prayers. This is the 17th blessing in the eighteen prayer, the fifth blessing in the seven prayer and the seventh blessing in the nine prayer. The purpose of this blessing, is a request from God to accept the prayer that preceded this blessing. Since the prayer is said against the sacrifices that were offered in the temple, the blessing also contains a request for the building of the temple and the return of the sacrifices.
